Price sensitivity

For the 25 highest-volume products: does the quantity sold drop when the price goes up?

Flower prices follow the market like a stock: when the market price rises, the buying cost rises too. So besides the price itself, we look at the markup (selling price ÷ buying cost). If customers keep buying when the markup is higher, there is room to raise prices.

Room to raise

12

When the markup was higher, customers bought about the same or more.

Raise carefully

1

Quantity drops a bit when the markup goes up — raise prices in small steps.

Price-sensitive

0

Quantity drops clearly when the markup goes up — keep prices competitive.

No clear pattern

12

Price and quantity do not move together in a clear way.
